Pastures of Plenty Wedding in Boulder, Colorado
You might recognize some of these photos of Pastures of Plenty from my feature on Boulder’s best farm wedding venues, but what the heck, this wedding was rad enough to deserve a post all on it’s own. Sarah + Lewis are both mad geniuses (like literally, think NASA space program levels of genius) and couldn’t be more perfect together. They just seem to click and have a magical innate understanding of one another that was pretty awesome to be around. They met in class in college, and had a “will they, won’t they” run around before finally telling the other one how they felt and winding up together. Their officiant (and one of their best friends) did an incredible job telling the story at the ceremony and had us all in stitches the whole time!
I loved the laid back vibe that they cultivated for their wedding day at Pastures of Plenty. Everything was a little DIY (family members did all the flowers, OMG!!) and just the right amount of boho. The amazing thing about Pastures of Plenty is so much of that style is already built in for you. The antique tables in their cocktail area, the little nooks of greenery, and even the serving areas for catering were all farm-chic in the best way. They clearly have put a lot of love and care into their property and how they host weddings. I was drooling, and wishing I could do mine all over again. You even get some pretty rad views out to the foothills behind Boulder, so if you want mountain AND farm, this is the spot for you. The light was absolutely breathtaking at sunset, and I was so glad Sarah + Lewis were up for a little additional photo sesh before the evening rolled in. Speaking of which, can we talk about how perfect dancing under the stars is at this awesome place?? They have super cute market lights strung up on their pergolas and trees to make the most perfect summer evening hangout spot. They even let you have amplified music so you can party into the night if you want to.
Okay, I have to geek out for a second and talk about Lewis getting literally the best gift from his friends at the wedding. Scroll down for the photos, but they literally go him a SWORD!!!! For my nerds out there, it was a legit replica of Oathkeeper from Game of Thrones actually made in red damascus steel. It was so pretty… and great for slicing tomatoes that people toss your way apparently. I even found it online in case you want to get your own (like me… cursor hovering over the “add to cart” button. NOOOOOO).
I can’t say enough about how awesome this wedding was and how amazing these humans are, so it’s a good thing pictures speak a thousand words!!
