a complete, exhaustive, and excessively thorough, list of

Denver Wedding Venues

Looking for a Wedding Venue in Denver?

Every time I’m looking for wedding venues to recommend to people getting married in Denver, I get super frustrated by all the mountain wedding venues sneaking their way into the lists on the big directory sites. On The Knot and Wedding Wire, you get search results from places that are 2-3 hours from Denver mixed in with everything that’s local! What if I actually want to know what venues don’t have a 3 hour drive from the airport?? Other local directories promise to “match you with the perfect Denver wedding venue” but require you to enter a bunch of personal information before serving you results. RIP your inbox when every venue salesperson is emailing you for months when you were just trying to get a list of cute venues! Or, you do get information but it’s super outdated and many of the website and email links don’t work. I know you can work google, but why add the extra step if you don’t need to.

I’ve put together this page to serve as a resource for people looking for a wedding venue that’s actually IN Denver. All of these venues are within Denver city limits and are the perfect backdrop for your city wedding! I reached out to every venue on this list and gave the venues the option to include extra information about their space for free. I didn’t want to prioritize only spaces that had huge budget for advertising. My own venue was a hole in the wall that it took us ages to find. Many of the venues included pricing or starting prices to help you narrow down your search. You often can’t find that information on other directories, and you usually have to set up a meeting with the venue to get it!

This list is up to date as of 2021, and I will be coming back to update information as needed. Unless noted otherwise, venue capacities and availability are based on non-COVID times. Capacities may be smaller based on the county dial and event restrictions in Denver.

What’s not to love about an iconic industrial corner building right in the middle of central Denver?! It’s named for the asterisk shape of the intersection it sits on (check the logo, it matches the street map, SO COOL) and is a relatively new space in Denver. The inside has a clean entry way that is great to decorate with favors, place cards, or balloon arches, and it then opens up into a large flexible warehouse style space. There is enough space for a ceremony and reception set up side by side, or you can flip the room during your cocktail hour to accommodate a larger guest count. I love that the whole interior space is white washed, and there are plenty of windows at street level to let in natural light while the sun’s out. You get a great view of downtown at sunset, and opportunities to get some cool city lights in the backdrop of some evening portraits (if your photographer is down to grab them).

The best thing about this place though? There’s a super rad rooftop that is MASSIVE and can accommodate a huge event. You could do your ceremony up top and your reception inside, or have an amazing cocktail hour party all on the roof!

  • Tables + Chairs
  • A/V Package
  • Indoor/Outdoor Event Space

Blanc has been around for a minute, and is still one of my all time favorite wedding venues in Denver. It’s one of the few with a super unique outdoor ceremony space with some greenery (there’s a gorgeous grove of trees in the courtyard) so you get the best of both the urban chic vibe with a more natural backdrop for photos! They have multiple indoor rooms to move your event through during the wedding day. It definitely gives guests a unique experience and flow as they explore the property.

It’s surrounded by swoonworthy trees in the summertime, but still keeps that industrial vibe going with it’s views of the area near RiNo. For photos, it’s really easy to walk down the street to some of the best murals in Denver!! I go to this neighborhood all the time for engagement sessions, so you can’t go wrong taking wedding photos there too.

Oh, Moss… there are not enough words to describe how much I love this space!! From the golden hour light that spills into the ceremony room from the west-facing windows, to the gorgeous chandeliers in their urban chic reception space, you just can’t go wrong in this space. They have the coolest bar in the “moss room” that actually has a flowing water feature on it! I love it when people set up the ceremony in the moss wall room, then use the other room for the reception. Their huge barn doors on each room make it easy to funnel guests between the spaces, and there is a great entry-way for a coat check, gift table, and unique decor opportunity.

Mile High Station was one of the first “big” Denver weddings I photographed at, and it made me realize how much I love a city industrial wedding vibe. It’s now right next to the iconic Meow Wolf building, but it got it’s name from the Mile High Arena when it was still named that. It’s one of the darker city venues on this list, so if you really want to go for that moody industrial look, this is the spot to check out first. It has a gorgeous central bar in the main space that makes an amazing backdrop for your ceremony and reception. Every time I’ve worked there, they’ve had the cocktail hour up on the second floor of the room which gives guests an awesome teaser for what the reception space looks like as they flip the room for you. I highly recommend doing your ceremony inside by the east windows. The lighting there is beautiful, and you get a perfect brick wall as the backdrop for your other decor.

There is also now a space right next door called Ironworks run by the same folks. It has more of an Art Deco feel than Mile High Station, and has an absolutely dreamy staircase. The ceiling is SO cool, and gives the downstairs space a real “speakeasy” vibe. You definitely don’t need to bring much into the space to give your guests a really unique experience. Definitely tour both spaces while you are in the neighborhood.

SKYLIGHT!!!! Yes, I’m yelling because I’m so in love with this space. What do you need in a wedding venue aside from a whitewashed brick wall, exposed beam ceiling, and a rad little outdoor cocktail patio? Nothing. It’s perfect. Space was one of the first art gallery venues in Denver to make it trendy and classy AF to get married in a working, breathing, art space! I love that they keep their art rotating, so you never know what is going to be on the walls for your wedding. One time I was there, the couple had an epic donut wall, and there was this perfect textured, neon colored, massive oil painting they wound up using as the backdrop for the donuts. Magic. They have a great patio area outdoors for the cocktail hour, and an area that a food truck can be parked at the back with easy access for the guests. The upper floor inside also makes for a great cocktail space while the downstairs gets flipped between your ceremony and reception. The next space is their new second space that they started after the gallery was such a big hit. Definitely check that one out too!

Denver Parks Wedding Venues

Denver has a few park locations and historical properties that are available for weddings but governed by the city parks department. They’re an amazing option for affordable weddings in Denver, especially during the summer. Because they are so popular (and so cost effective) dates go QUICK once they release them to the public for booking this year. You normally need to have some flexibility in your date to be able to lock something in at these awesome spots!

How to book Denver Parks Event Facilities

First, you’ll want to head to the Denver Parks website and create an account, then head to their facility reservation page to apply for a permit. You can only submit a reservation request via the online fomr or in person. You have to reserve the location at least 30 days prior to the date you want for your wedding. For any of the facilities, a nonrefundable downpayment of $210 is due when you make your reservation. You’ll get a confirmation email from Denver Parks within 48 hours of your application.

If you want to schedule a tour of any of the venues, you can do it by checking out these instructions. They’re free, but you can only bring one other person with you to the tour.

While you can bring in your own catering and alcohol for any of these venues, Denver has a specific set of liquor license requirements for all the venues that are part of the Denver Parks wedding venues. They are as follows:

  • If serving or selling alcohol:  Liquor Liability or Host Liquor Liability is required with your insurance coverage.
  • If selling alcohol:  a Special Event Liquor License must be acquired from the Denver Dept. of Excise and Licenses.
  • For all alcohol: A licensed bartender who is not a guest of the event is required for the service of any alcohol

A Special Note…

Cheesman Park has been a staple as a wedding site in Denver for years. While it is still being rented out for private events and weddings, you cannot reserve it on the website like the other venues below. To request a date at the Cheesman Park Pavilion, email Denver Parks fill out the event application.
