Manitou Springs Wedding at The Craftwood Inn
This magical little venue is nestled in the foothills outside Colorado Springs. Manitou Springs is adorable, and the Craftwood Inn is absolutely stunning. The venue manager is an incredible advocate for all of the people who get married there, and makes sure every detail of the wedding is absolutely perfect. While these two didn’t lean into it, if you wanted to lean hard into a fantasy, Lord of the Rings, or old-timey aesthetic, this venue would work for it super well. The buildings have some victorian cottage architecture, and remind me so much of being home in England. I think that’s why James and Candace loved it as well, since James is a recent transplant from the UK.
Candace and James had their wedding at the Craftwood Inn with their adorable goldendoodle, details that paid homage to James’ UK heritage, and the most wonderful group of people around them. Their little outdoor ceremony in the courtyard of the Craftwood Inn was just perfect, and we got the most perfect light for all of their portraits with the wedding party on the lawn just in front of the main building.
Their day could not have gone more perfectly from their first look, to their epic dance party, to their sparkler sendoff! The Craftwood Inn is one of the few venues I’ve been to that allows sparkler sendoffs, and has a nice big concrete patio to make sure they’re safe. It was so fun to be there right until the end of this wedding to get photos of them running down the line of sparklers and into their limo for their drive off.
Having a wedding at the Craftwood Inn and need some kick ass photos? I’d love to be on your list of photographers to reach out to. Hit me up below!
