Blanc Denver Wedding
About L&C’s Wedding at Blanc Denver
Blanc has been on my “I want to photograph here SO BADLY” list since I started photographing weddings in Denver. Finally, in 2023, L&C trusted me to document their colorful and unique wedding there!! They kicked the day off at two different Airbnbs spending time with their friends. When I arrived and saw Lindsey’s incredible pale salmon floral gown, I knew it needed an epic detail photo all on it’s own. Fortunately, the renovated church Airbnb where L and her wedding party folks were hanging out had a loft and stunning clean white walls for me to go to town. L thought through all the details, from matching her perfume bottle to her shoes, to getting tiny butterflies for all her bridesmaids to wear in their hair.
After they were all ready, we walked from the Airbnb to Don’s, a favorite dive bar of the crew for late night drinks and debauchery. Montucky Cold Snaps were the drink of choice, and the group played some pool before donning their fabulous shades again and walking back to the Airbnb. I love it when couples incorporate unique locations like this, and take the extra time to craft intentional moments with their people before things get wild later in the wedding day. C and his guys had their own party bus adventures, and met us at blanc denver for the first look (highly recommended at blanc, since there aren’t really separate getting ready spaces for you to hide out in prior to the ceremony).
From the ceremony on, L & C shared their whole selves just so authentically and honestly with all their people. From readings at the ceremony that had me bawling, to intentional moments with each and every guest at cocktail hour, to speeches from all their friends and family that really showed how important their community is to them, they really made the day special for so many people.
From the first moment I saw L’s dress, I knew this wedding was going to be one for the books. Even C’s suit and shoes left no one doubting he had a unique sense of style and fun. Everyone partied hard on the dance floor, and when the evening ended at blanc, Improper City in RiNo (right across the street) was the next stop for this awesome crew!!

Tips for your wedding at Blanc Denver
Shuttle guests or arrange rideshares
Street parking in RiNo is tough on the weekends, and only gets more difficult as the northwestern areas continue to get developed. Get rideshare vouchers for your guests, have them stay in local hotels, or shuttle them to the venue to avoid parking drama.
Provide shady seating at cocktail hour
During the summer, the central patio of the venue gets HOT, and guests will already have been sitting for your ceremony outside. There are only a few areas with shade, but getting some extra lounge furniture for the grapevine gazebo and the barn will make a huge difference to the comfort of your guests.
Get ready off-site, and have a first look
I don’t normally say a first look is a dealbreaker based on the venue, but trust me, at blanc it will make your life much easier if you have already seen each other as you arrive at the venue. There is little to no space to “hide” from each other pre-ceremony, and the abundant windows that make the venue so cool mean that an “oopsie” moment could mess up your whole vibe!
In a similar vein, getting ready at one of the fabulous RiNo hotels, or an Airbnb nearby will make your morning run much more smoothly. The Innovation Room is best used as a buffet or bar, and storage for your wedding party’s stuff, rather than a getting ready space.
Get a party bus or car rental to drive around Denver for photos!
This is optional, but super fun. If you don’t want to spend a lot of time walking around RiNo in your fancy clothes, grab a party bus for you and your wedding party, or a bougie SUV for yourselves and your media squad so you can hit up some fun murals, nearby parks, and other fun Denver photo spots before heading to blanc for your ceremony!
