I met Megan and Bobby at a brewery in my hometown, Lafayette, to chat about their wedding plans. At that point, I had never done a wedding at the YMCA Estes Park, but had heard good things. They mentioned their love for sunflowers, all things outdoors, and that they wanted to try and do a fall post-wedding session with some golden leaves in Rocky Mountain National Park. Can you tell why I got excited about working with them!?!
They definitely pulled all that together plus some for their wedding day. Their whole day was relaxed, intimate, and sometimes felt more like a big family dinner.... exactly what they were going for. They knew the big, traditional, wedding was just not their scene. For them, it was about gathering their closest people in the most beautiful location they could find and just enjoying it all. Their friends and family all stayed on site with them and they had tons of hiking and fishing adventures planned for the whole week!
Thanks for reading, and hope you enjoy the photos <3
