I got the best email in my inbox this morning! It has been one of my goals since I became a wedding photographer to be published in Rocky Mountain Bride!
Why? You ask? Well, every time I visit their site I find someone or something that inspires me. It's a huge honor to be joining the ranks of those who I consider my photography idols! I also love the community that the wedding industry encourages and RMB embraces and encourages that collaboration!
We planned the styled shoot at Milston Well Farms in the Lafayette, Erie, Longmont area. It's a newer venue that we all agreed had a little something special about it. I, personally, am obsessed with the panoramic views out to the mountains and a really magical grove of trees at the back of the property. It speaks of the nostalgic life full of animals and rustic charm that I hope to someday have. But, unlike many other farm weddings, we didn't embrace the rustic elements of that. Notsalgic, yes. Charming, of course. But, we think you can get married on a cute farm and keep it elegant. Michelle, of Brindle + Oak, kept us all on track and helped clarify the vision! You'll have to check out their post to see the amazing vintage Airstream trailer that was the groom's getting ready room. Ember Hairstream brought it along!!
